Error: This is an invalid CD Key value. (during install due to bug).
Error:
This is an invalid CD Key value. Check the identification number from your CD sticker.
Cause:
This error may occur during the Office 95 installation even if the CD Key Value is entered correctly. Microsoft Corporation has confirmed this to be a problem in Office 95.
Solution:
Run Setup with the /k switch.
1) Click 'Start' todisplay the Windows 'Start' menu.
Start menu
2) Select 'Run...' from the 'Start' menu in Windows.
3) Type the following in the 'Open' box:
X:\SETUP /K ''12345678910'' (where ''X:\'' represents the drive from which Setup is being run and ''123...'' represents the CD key number.)
NOTE: The CD Key MUST be enclosed in quotation marks.
4) Click 'Open'.
